Palo Alto County Gaming Development Corporation
Palo Alto County Gaming Development Corporation (PACGDC) is the nonprofit organization that holds the license for Wild Rose Entertainment. Wild Rose Entertainment will be paying 6% of their gross adjusted revenue to PACGDC. These funds generated from gaming receipts will provide funding to educational institutions, civic/economic development/tourism and not-for-profit organizations. Julie Clarkson of Emmetsburg is the president of the group. Other members are Rose Reit, Bill Lapczenski, Lloyd Peterson, Norlyn Stowell and Skip Wallace. www.paloaltogaming.org
Wild Rose Entertainment
Wild
Rose Entertainment and PACGDC created a partnership for this
endeavor, which will be an all-Iowa project. Wild Rose Entertainment was
founded by Iowa businessmen Gary Kirke and Michael Richards who own gaming
resorts and related businesses. Kirke is a respected and successful entrepreneur,
and Richards is a physician, health-care executive and investor in several
Iowa businesses. Kevin Preston will serve as general manager of Wild Rose
