About Art & Audrey Smith Wellness Center
Emmetsburg
has joined many communities in providing a Wellness Center
to promote the health and well-being of its citizens. The Smith Wellness
Center is a multi-purpose recreational facility with an Olympic-sized
swimming pool, aerobics, cardiovascular, and weight-lifting
rooms, racquetball court, and locker rooms. In addition, the Public
and College Libraries, along with the Computer Lab,
the Genealogy Room, Senior Citizens
Room, ICN Classroom, and several meeting rooms provide
many facilities for the community. The Gymnasium/Convention
Center
provide space for large group meetings and activities, such as seminars
and graduation.

Education Programs
Program planning has been an important element of the Smith Wellness Center. Seminars, wellness programs, youth activities, after school programs, library programs, arts and crafts, summer programs, and activities for youth, adults, and senior citizens are available. Continuing Education classes from Iowa Lakes are offered all year long. Contact Iowa Lakes Community College 712-852-3554 to suggest programming. The staff is always willing to work with any group to provide for their needs.

Membership Fees
- Pay options – Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and EFT Transfer is available to use through the college’s main office.
- Memberships are valid for a 12-month period from the date of purchase. Memberships are nonrefundable
