Homecoming Tailgate Party

Each year the Chamber of Commerce sponsors a Homecoming Tailgate Party on the Friday afternoon in September of the Emmetsburg High School Homecoming Parade. The retail businesses in downtown Emmetsburg provide snacks and refreshments before and after the homecoming parade. Since the weather is usually cooperative at this time of the year, it is a fun time for the whole community to come out and enjoy the Homecoming Parade.
