The role of the College Library is to provide informational
services and resources required to support the college's educational programs.
The Library strives to work with students and faculty in reaching the
educational goals of the college. As innovations are made in information
and technology, the Library strives to offer the most current and appropriate
resources available.

The Library Collection
Iowa Lakes Community College libraries on all campuses
contain a combined collection of over 37,000 books and 1000 videotapes.
The libraries subscribe to approximately 290 periodicals. Government documents,
career and vertical file materials are available at the campus libraries.
Library Services
Library services are available to students, faculty and
staff of Iowa Lakes Community College and residents of the surrounding
area. A college library card is necessary to check out books. Through Iowa Open Access anyone with a library card from a participating
library may check out materials from the college library.
In order to increase information access, Interlibrary
Loan services are available to Iowa Lakes Community College students
and staff free of charge. Loans typically arrive in three to ten days.
