Mission Statement

The Emmetsburg Chamber of Commerce is the primary advocate of the Emmetsburg area business community in recognition of our responsibility to sustain the area as a desirable place to live, work, and play.

1. Ensure Chamber of Commerce is adequately funded
2. Increase tourism promotion and development
3. Recruit and retain businesses

The Emmetsburg Chamber of Commerce is the primary advocate of the area business community providing business advocacy, networking, referrals, publicity and exposure, training, weekly business coffees, relocation packets, quarterly newsletter, ribbon cuttings, community calendar, chamber bucks, community and tourist information, maps, website and more.

We are the host agency for:

• Emmetsburg Retail Association
• Emmetsburg Cable Television Channel 3
• KEMB-LP 94.1 FM
• Emmetsburg’s Iowa Welcome Center (established 1987)

The Chamber sponsors a coffee every Friday 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. which is hosted by local chamber businesses. Public is welcome!
